Eye Vitamins: Ocular pigmentation and computers

February 21, 2010 Leave a comment

The constant regeneration and rejuvenation of the pigments in your eyes have a great effect on the time you spend in front of a computer or televison set every day. Some cellular telephones with screens and internet and video capabilities can also be included in this category. Computers and modern visual aids have special pigmentation and pixel designs which are manufactured so the screen looks good not so your eyes can see it better. Your eyes are supposed to adapt to screen shine and light emissions.

Eye pigmentation and colors

The pigments produced in your eyes tend to diminish with use and lack of vitamins and minerals to stimuli regeneration. Many times you find yourself adjusting your screen up or down because you can’t see it well, it probably is not the screen, and it may be your eyes. Zeaxanthin is a natural element that is taken from several green plants which produces yellow pigments in your eyes. When you feel the need to adjust your screen or the television color setting because the picture appears to be too green, you probably need a boost of yellow pigmentation so your retina can get the picture straight.

Lutein works at the other end of the light spectrum, when you need to adjust the controls because the image is too red or orange, this means that you are lacking in blue pigmentation. Lutein stimulates the production and regeneration of blue pigments in your retina being that it is a carotenoid it helps the eyes in the absorbtion of blue light too. Your eyes are supposed to mix these pigments alone and automatically so the images appear exact and undistorted. When this is not possible we bring in another natural element.

Healing your eyes with vitamins and antioxidants

Astaxanthin is an antioxidant that allows the process of pigmentation mixing and using to run smoothly by cleaning out the system and allowing greater amounts of light into the retina and the ocular liquid. Astaxanthin stimulates the blood to accelerate the filtering process on ocular fluids and blood so that all debris and waste is removed promptly allowing for clearer vision and reflection of light.

Good eye health requires the use of vitamin and mineral supplements created especially for the eyes. Many people use them and apply them in eye drops directly into the eye, this is not a good system. The eyes need their supplements in the blood, like any other organ in the body. When you put it in the eyes it will simply move around and finally end up in a tear going down your cheek.

The best way to take eye supplements like astaxanthin, lutein and zeaxanthin is in capsules or soft pills. Hard pills take longer to be digested and many times may upset your stomach. These and other natural elements should not remain in your stomach for  too long, they should be sent into the blood stream fast and effectively. Once you start taking them you will notice the difference in your eyes and will not want to quit.

How will eye focus impairment affect your hobbies

February 17, 2010 Leave a comment

Not everybody has hobbies but everybody has to do something fine and delicate once in a while like threading a needle or fixing a miniature screw on your glasses. Even if what you need to do is not that small, it may only be to write your name or something on a small space or small piece of paper.

Focusing up closeMaxiVision

Eye coordination and focus is very important up close when your eyes have to come together in the middle to be able to focus and see something up close. The eyes need to be fed and nurtured, they are delicate and fine instruments that need to be cleaned and cherished. Vitamins and minerals are necessary for them to feel good, bilberry, zeaxanthin and astaxanthin combined with Vitamin C and vitamin E, omega-3 amino acids, calcium and lutein are excellent to promote good eye health. This and a healthy diet will assure your eyes a long fruitful life.

It is harder for your eyes to focus on something small right in front of them than on something small far away. To focus on the small thing close to them they must exert themselves and focus pupils, retina and move the eyes close together to get the right depth and contrast. Eyes that are limited by malnutrition and poor health cannot do this properly. Many times people just go out and get eyeglasses instead of feeding their eyes.

Putting together a model airplane requires great eyesight, not only to see the parts but because when your eyes do not focus well your hands will tremble too. Bilberry will help you focus your eyes properly and zeaxanthin will correct any depth and contrast problems you might have. This applies to many other hobbies like painting and drawing, your eyes must be able to see the subject you intend to paint, they must see the background and the colors about it. Astaxanthin will allow blood to circulate better within your eyes and will strengthen them by relieving them of toxins and chemicals accumulated in the blood vessels for years.

Natural nutrients and pigmentation

Whatever you like doing that requires detail and the perfect focusing of your eyes upon a subject. It does  not matter if the subject is close or far from you, the focusing process is the same and the coordination between the eyes is the same too. Natural supplements reestablish communication between your eyes and make them work together again by cleaning the electric terminals between them and by reestablishing bonds that were blocked by dirt and toxins accumulated for as long time.

Bilberry, astaxanthin and zeaxanthin reestablish pigmentation levels in the eyes and they help the ocular fluid to clear up and let additional light into the retina improving vision many times over. The eyes recover their ability to work together in unison which is the way they should have been from the beginning , any loss of vitamins or deficiency in one eye will be corrected by the supplements so they both work the same in harmony.

Eye Vitamins, are they for real?

Higher Nature Astaxanthin and Blackcurrant

Why would someone wonder about eye vitamins, we take vitamins and supplements for other things? We take protein to build muscles and antioxidants for infection and to build the immune system and calcium for the bones so why not vitamins for the eyes. In fact we neglect our eyes until something goes wrong with them. We can’t see without our reading glasses or need greater graduation in our every day glasses.

Vitamins that help your eyes

The eyes are like any part of the body, they need nutrients and vitamins too so they will work properly and for a long time. For example vitamins for eyes should include Vitamin C and E reduces the risk of cataracts. Vitamin A and Beta-carotene are great for night vision and pupil dilation, they promote wound healing and also strengthen the immune system.

The body deteriorates as the years go by, we don’t have the same amount of energy and our body does not produce or metabolize the same amount of vitamins and nutrients. Our body needs to ingest twice the amount of vitamin C today to be able to use the same amount it did twenty years ago. The eyes are delicate pieces of equipment, equipment that can’t be replaced when damaged. So it is important that we make efforts to preserve them intact as long as we can.

How to take eye supplements

When you take general supplements and vitamins that contain iron and calcium and supposedly all the vitamins and minerals your body needs the recommended daily dosage the bottle mentions is supposed to include your eyes but it really doesn’t. Maybe a little something of Vitamin C or a small amount of amino acids get there but definitely not the dose they need to stay healthy.

It is important that you take a separate capsule or pill containing the eye vitamins some fifteen minutes after you take your general supplement. By doing so your other pill will be in the process of reaching all other organs and you will be able to use the second pill for what it is designed your eyes nutrition.
