Carotenoids Linked To Fewer Hip Fractures

As a person gets older, the bones in their body begin to get a little easier to break. For a lot of elderly people this is most seen in the hip area. In a recent study, that took almost 20 years to complete, researchers at Tufts University and Boston University have shown that certain carotenoids can actually lead to fewer hip fractures.
